Learning Approach

UUS embraces teaching methods, such as discussions and demonstrations, to create a dynamic learning environment. This approach focuses on facilitative teaching, which fosters experiential learning and encourages student engagement. By allowing students to take an active role in their education, the teacher effectively guides them toward success. Students are inspired to tackle challenges independently, promoting critical thinking and creativity as they explore solutions.

Project Based Learning

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method that helps students address real- world problems through hands-on projects. Students work together on tasks that need critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. This approach helps them build important skills like communication, teamwork, and independent research. PBL encourages active participation and connects learning to real-life situations, making education more engaging. We use Project-Based Learning to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and foster a love for lifelong learning.

Communal Involvements

We need to support our community and contribute to its well-being. We teach our students to be responsible citizens. Our community activities include helping people affected by natural disasters, keeping our surroundings clean, and supporting old citizens affected by age or diseases, protecting our heritage and individual's rights.

Guest Lectures

Students should learn from industry experts. These interactions help them understand the skills that different jobs require. Our school regularly invites well-known professionals from various fields as guest lecturers.

Students as Professors

At our school, we empower students by allowing them to take on leadership roles and share their knowledge with classmates. In the Students as Professors program, students can lead classes, workshops, and discussions on topics they care about. This experience helps them improve their public speaking and teaching skills while deepening their understanding of the material. It encourages collaboration among students and builds a culture of respect and learning.

Cooperative Learning

We believe that collaboration among students is essential. Cooperative learning uses small groups to help students enhance their learning together. This includes activities like discussions, class assignments, projects, and exercises. By engaging with different perspectives, students learn to understand opposing viewpoints and avoid generalizations about others. The main goal of cooperative learning is to help students understand how society functions. These skills are crucial in college, the workplace, and daily life.

Co-curricular Activities

At United, students must take part in a variety of co-curricular classroom classes and competitions. These enhance and complement classroom education. There are over 50 events and competitions every year that students can participate in. Taking part in co- curricular activities on classroom topics helps to elucidate and entrench theoretical information on a more profound level. Whereas the classroom is primarily interested in intellectual growth, co-curricular activities assist in aesthetic growth, character building, spiritual growth, physical growth, moral values, and creativity.
